Fastego coming soon!
January 30th, 2009
We are excited to announce that Fastego has been submitted to Apple! Version 1.0 has been uploaded and we expect it to be available on the iTunes store in the next few days.
We have already started working on version 1.1 of Fastego. It will add many improvements and bug fixes that will make your gaming experience almost perfect.
Fastego is a strategy game created for the iPhone and iPod touch. Fastego is a fast paced game that combines strategy, discovery and risk taking to win. Created as an adaptation of classic strategy games for mobile devices, we hope you'll enjoy the game.
The rules:
- Each team starts with 12 pieces comprised of a Flag, 2 Bombs and 9 pieces drawn randomly with the only requirement being that the sum of these pieces score to 30 (or the corresponding advantage level). There should be at least one 8 and one 9 per team.
- Scoring is simply ten (10) minus the piece's value. So, for instance, a 2 would be scored as an 8, a 7 would be scored as a 3, and so on. Neither the flags nor bombs are scored for the teams.
- Lower numbered piece wins a battle. If the pieces have the same rank then the tie results in both pieces being removed from the board.
- The point of the game is to capture the opponenet's flag.
- Neither the flag nor the bomb can move.
- Bombs may off once or more than once - depending on your choice.
Hints
- This game requires a combination of risk taking and analysis and depending on the pieces you get you will need to adjust your strategy. Remember your opponent's team is not the same as yours.
